Prossick, Beatrice J.

Rochester: June 27, 2016. Survived by her daughter, Janice (Maureen Duignan). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and Freckles. She was a great Mom who became a best friend to me and Maureen.

Beatrice was a devoted wife and mother. To the very end, she was known for her beautiful hair, coordinated wardrobe, and bright spirit. She loved people, always wanted to get to know more about their lives. She volunteered for the RPO children's program and Nazareth's Casa Itailiana, and even became a Girl Scout Leader. Bea was a great bowler and avid golfer in the Greece Women's Golf League for many years where she developed lasting friendships. She loved her family and appreciated all the time that so many of them spent with her, especially during her last years.

We would like to thank the nurses, aides, and all the supportive staff at the Jewish Home, especially the Bob, Mina, Bridget and Rusty who always went the extra mile to provide us with an environment that was creative, fun and loving.

Friends may attend her Funeral Mass, 10 AM Thursday at St. Lawrence Church. Private interment.
