Bonnie Rooksby

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on February 8, 2021. She is predeceased by her husband Howard Rooksby; parents Robert & Lucy Briggs; brother-in-law Jim DeBloom. Survived by her son Michael (Michelle) Rooksby; daughter Michelle LaFranca; grandchildren Michael, Madison, & Montana Rooksby, Allison & Jonathan LaFranca; siblings Bob (Marg) Briggs, Betsy DeBloom, Bill (Dawn) Briggs; many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was a longtime school teacher with the Rochester City School District and a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church.

Friends may attend a funeral mass 10:30 AM Saturday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Golisano's Children Hospital 300 East River Road, PO Box 278996 Roc, NY 14627
