Greece - May 7, 2018. Predeceased by his wife, Rosemary. Survived by his children, Debbie (Tom) Kent of Switzerland, Charlie (Christine) Pilger, Mike (Tina) Pilger of CT., Steve (Maureen) Pilger, JoAnn (Matt) VerHulst and Rick Pilger; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Pilger. He was a Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict and a longtime member of Salmon Creek Country Club. The family would like to thank the Lipson Cancer Center and Journey Home Hospice for their compassion and care.

Friends may call Sunday 2-5 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. Funeral Mass 10:00 Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church (W. Ridge Rd.). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
