Donald M. Sargent

Greece, NY May 4, 2022. With a heavy heart, the family of Don Sargent announce his unexpected passing. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Verona Sargent; wife Sharon; brother Jack and niece Molly.. Survived by his sisters Carol Mont from Wellesley, MA and Muriel Schied from St. Michaels, MD; and many nieces and nephews and close dear friends.
A Devout Catholic, devoted husband, brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend, Don was loved by all who had the good fortune to meet and spend time with him. Avid golfer, Buffalo Bills fan and former skier, Don enjoyed his life to the end. A life long resident of Rochester, after graduating from The Aquinas Institute of Rochester, he honored his country by enlisting in the Army and spent 2 years in Germany. Upon return, Don worked 30 years as an account executive at Kodak Company in Rochester. Don was known for his kind heart, easy manor and smile.
No prior calling hours. His funeral mass will be Thursday, May 12th, 11 AM at St. Mark's Church 54 Kuhn Road, Rochester, NY 14612. Interment at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Spencerport. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Aquinas Institute Scholarship Fund (Class of 52), 1127 Dewey Ave. Roch., NY 14613.
