E. Richard Van Hook

Greece- Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 13, 2020 at the age of 93. He is survived by his loving wife Jeanne; children Richard (JoAnne Rothchild), Sharon (Gary Worth), William (Cyndy), Edward (Terry), Susan (Richard Lynch), Molly (Mike Rogers); 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Richard was a proud Navy veteran who served in WWII and Korea. He was the founder of Van Hook Service Company. The family would like to thank the staff at the GrandeVille Senior Living Community for their compassion and care.

Friends may call 4-7 Wednesday, September 16 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. Immediately followed by a service with military honors at 7 at the funeral home.
