Predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Virginia Marsh; brother, Robert (Maura) Marsh; brother-in-law, William Mayer; sister-in-law, Joan (Jim) Krause; Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James; children, Terry (Tim) Magee, Mary (Rod Hoover) Pierce, Jim (Maura) Pierce, Eileen (David) Wurman, David (Anne) Pierce and Daniel (Penny) Pierce; grandchildren, Brian, Meaghan (Greg), Sean (Kelsey), Bridgette, Katy (Steven), Kelly, Daniel, Tiffanie, Ryan, Paige, Alex and Sydney; sisters, Patricia (Chuck) Donner, Carol Mayer and Cathy (John) Bovenzi. Betty was a woman of strong faith, a member of the St. John's Women's Guild and an active volunteer with her church and the community. Friends may call Monday 4-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. Funeral Mass 10:00 Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Church (W. Ridge Rd.). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
