Florence M. Leonard

Passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 98. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Arthur H. Leonard; infant son Keith; son Arthur F. Leonard; and daughter Marti Snodgrass. She is survived by her two sisters, Myrtle Meredith and Margaret Butcher; daughter Barbara (Steven) Spector; grandchildren Sandy, Jacob, David, Michael, Julie; and 9 great-grandchildren. Florence was a lifetime resident of Mentor, Ohio until 2014 when she moved to the Episcopal Church Home in Rochester, NY. She will be remembered for her love of flowers, her large collection of salt and pepper shakers collected from many memorable trips, her enjoyment watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns and most especially for that infectious smile.

Many thanks to the outstanding staff at the Episcopal Church Home who cared for Florence for seven years with such caring & gentleness.

Funeral services will be held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Red Cross. A memorial service in Mentor, OH will be scheduled at a later date.
