Frances Zambito Davis

Rochester - Passed away peacefully November 12, 2018 at age 84. A native of Auburn, NY, Fran graduated from Cortland State Teacher's College in 1956, the foundation of her lifelong passion for education and continuous learning. Fran was predeceased by her first grandson, Johnathan Davis. Fran is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Richard F. Davis; her children, Alessandro (Susan) Perriello, Michael (Laurie) Davis and Marybeth (Noel) O'Connor; her grandchildren, Donna Davis, Paige O'Connor, Eve O'Connor and Sean Fitzsimons; sister, Marianne Caci of FL; brother, Richard Zambito of Auburn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fran was the ultimate caregiver of her beloved family. She was a fierce advocate for her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved her home, her house in the country, crocheting, plants, animals and cooking. She was a loyal and devoted friend to many; she never met a stranger. Fran loved all living things.

Fran's family will be forever grateful for the loving, compassionate care she received from staff at Unity Hospital, McCormick Transitional Care Center, Lifetime Care and many family members and friends.

Please join her family for a Memorial Service 10:30 AM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Bethany Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fran's name to Golisano Hospital Bright Eyes Fund, 300 E. River Rd., PO Box 278996, Roch. 14627 to continue the fight against Childhood Cancer.
