Frederick J. Farmer
Greece - 05/04/1930 - 02/06/2019, age 88. Predeceased by daughter, Julie Popp; brothers, Joseph and George; sister, Florence (Jerald) Knitis. Survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Vilma; daughter, Nancy; sons, Thomas (Paula), Gary (Virginia); grandchildren, Renee, Justin, Christopher, Jennifer, Timothy, Brian; great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Harrison; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Algird and Sarah Bertman; and many other nieces and nephews. He was an active member of Boy Scouts of America, Marine Corps League and American Legion Post #206.
Friends may call Friday 4-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral Mass, 11:30 Saturday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice.
