Survived by his parents, Frederick and Lorraine Metzger; siblings, Sharon Harrington, Judy (Tom) Lipovsky, Linda Hackett, Ann (Jim) Bunting, Ken (Julie) Metzger, Janine Layne; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and his beloved dog Chewie. Fred was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney H.S. who enjoyed music and fast cars.

Services are private.

Per his wishes, a Picnic Celebration of Fred's life will be held on Saturday, OCTOBER 7, 2017 at Durand Eastman Park, Acorn Pavilion from 1PM-4PM. Friends, family are welcome.
