Greece : Aug. 27, 2016. Predeceased by his son, Harley L. Jr.; sister, Jacqueline; and brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruth; his children, Douglas Burgess, Marianne (Norman) Magee, Pamela (Stephen) Harris, Mark Burgess, Jacqueline (George) Dadson, Judith Burgess, David (Susan) Burgess; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Harley was a 1943 graduate of Aquinas Institute, a WWII veteran, and a member of American Legion Post #468.

Friends may call Tuesday, 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English & Latta). Funeral Mass, 9:30 AM Wednesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses may be offered or contributions to Aquinas Institute, 1127 Dewey Ave., 14613.
