Rochester: March 10, 1961 - November 14, 2016. JP the man, the myth, the legend, Tenth Ward Irish strong passed away peacefully at age 55 with his loving and devoted wife, Debbie of 35 years at his side. JP and Debbie - a love story that first began as puppy love in 1973...turned into a full fledged love affair on April 2, 1980. This love was made holy in matrimony on June 6, 1981 and the rest is a history of devoted love that blessed them with 3 precious daughters, Kristin (Jesse) Lindley, Jamie and Jessie Weilert and 4 treasured grandbabies, Anthony, Jackson, Eme and Kayden, who lovingly called him "Papa". He is also survived by his beloved sisters, Kathy (Paul) Weinstein and Mary Hutchison and devoted brothers, Mike and Tom Grover and Billy Weilert. He also leaves many loved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Irene and brother, Bobby.

Friends may call Friday 2-7 at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta). Funeral Mass, 9:00 Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
