Greece - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Predeceased by her twin sister, Rose O'Connor. Born in County Louth, Ireland on June 23, 1924 to Jane and Thomas Matthews. Julia was a devoted and beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Julia leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Jim; sons, Tom (Dianne) and Dan (Heidi); grandchildren, Cheryl, Brian, Andrew and Katerine, Brandon, Jessica and Nathan; brother-in-law, Joe O'Connor and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday 4-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral Mass, 9:30 Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
