Greece- Died peacefully at Unity Hospital surrounded in her last days by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Garrett and son James Garrett; parents,Carl and Cecelia McCarthy Nichols; brothers and sisters, Clarence, Carl and Howard Nichols; Betty McGeary and Marian Fagan. Survived by her children, Randy (Gayle) Garrett, Don (Debbie) Garrett, Bob (Tricia) Garrett and Marilyn Garrett; and 9 grandchildren, Chad (Brittney), Tossy (Paul), Shannon (Adam), Keith, Kyle, Kurt (Whitney), Carleigh, Conor and Brenna Garrett; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Lang, brother in law, Bill McGeary; many dear nieces and nephews; special friend Jack Dixon and many lifelong friends. Marge was a lifetime member of the Barnard Ladies Auxillary and worked at the voting poles for years. She loved to read, play cards, bowl, golf, watch Jeopardy and cheer for her Dallas Cowboys. She was a master at Yahtzee and never turned down a game with her sons.The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the wonderful care given by the doctors and nurses at Unity Hospital.

There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial mass will be held 9:30 Saturday March 2, 2019 at St. Lawrence Church in Greece. Donations may be made to the Barnard Fire Dept., 3084 Dewey Ave., Rochester, N.Y. 14616 or St. Lawrence Church, 1,000 North Greece Rd., Rochester, N.Y. 14626.
