Greece: January 21, 2017 at age 98. Her parents Charles and Luella Reichhart, her husband James F. Hayden, and her sister Berniece Cabic, her nephews Roger Cabic, Frank Castellano, and her niece Mary Ann Castellano predeceased her. She is survived by her brother Norman Reichhart; sister-in-law Rose Mance (Buffalo); nephews Richard (Sheila) Reichhart, Larry (Debbie) Reichhart (TX), Joseph (Pat) Castellano (FL), Michael Mance (Syracuse); nieces Elaine Hosmer, Karen Cabic, Patti (Bruce) Knight, Laurie Rooney (FL), Rita DeSantis (Utica), Margaret (Peter) Sebregandio (FL), Marie Mance (Buffalo), Michelle Mance (Buffalo); grand nephews and grand nieces; many great grand nieces and nephews; dear friends Rose Marie Cerone, Trish Murray.

Monica graduated from West High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was the first female Supervisor at Eastman Kodak Company, and spent 47 years at Kodak in Reproduction Services with personnel at Camera Works, Hawkeye Lincoln Plant, Stromberg Carlson and Elmgrove Plant. She organized the first Toastmistress Club in Rochester and was Council Chairwoman for State of New York, serving on many committees and hosting a Regional Convention in Rochester and Syracuse. (She was a long-standing member of the International Toastmistress Club). In her retirement years she attended the Athenaeum at RIT and taught mainly Opera courses. She was an avid bridge player and supervised the games at Greece Town Hall. She was also a volunteer at WXXI, serving as docent, worked on the Auctions and programs for school children that were broadcast to many schools in the USA. She was an avid traveler having visited Russia, Japan, China, Europe and others. She was known for her generosity to many charitable and social organizations.

Friends may call Saturday 1-3 PM at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta). Funeral Service immediately following at 3 PM. Private interment. In her memory contributions may be made to Lollypop Farm.
