Rose Baglione

OLEAN, N.Y. — Rose M. Baglione, of Olean, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017. The daughter of the late Anthony and Margherita Ciampa, she was predeceased by her husband, Angelo on Sept. 17, 2013, whom she married on June 21, 1947 in Cuba, N.Y.

A graduate of Bolivar Central School and Westbrook Business Academy in Olean, she was employed as an executive secretary at Niagara Mohawk and later for the March of Dimes Organization, a position which grew out of her years of volunteer work for the organization.

She is survived by her son, Bernard Baglione, of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Margaret (Bernard) Tomasso, of Port Byron; grandchildren, Laura (Diego Massimo) Tomasso, of Prato, Italy, Tina Tomasso, of Auburn, and Brian (Heather) Tomasso, of Auburn. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Francesco Massimo, of Prato, Italy, and Stella Tomasso, of Auburn.

Friends may attend her memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 in Sacred Heart Church, 90 Melrose Road, Auburn.

In her memory, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
