Passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2024 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Kunkle; beloved sister Dorothy "Dot" McIntosh as well as 7 other siblings. Survived by her treasured daughters Gail (Michael) Bush, Lorrie (Lance) Dumigan; grandchildren Alexa Dumigan, Kaleigh Dumigan, Edward Bush, Vivian Nowack; great grandchildren Krystabella Bush, Tyler & Justin Nowack and the light of her life, Levi Dumigan; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to the A Unit staff at Highlands of Brighton for the loving and attentive care they gave to Ginny.
Ginny enjoyed sharing an ice cream sundae and spending her days with Alexa and Kaleigh since their toddlerhood, and was overjoyed at the birth of great-grandson, Levi. When he came to visit her, her smile and joy was palpable. She loved nothing more than spending the holidays at Lorrie's or a shopping trip to Macys with her. You could always be sure that no matter what you did for her, you were quick to get a heartfelt thank you card in the mail, as no act of service went unnoticed by her. If she could find a way to brighten your day or help those around her, she was quick to do it.
At her Brockport home, you could always find her reading the newest Danielle Steel book, listening to Elvis Presley or watching the latest news, but not without a bag of pretzels in hand!
Her wit, humor and genuineness will be deeply missed by everyone she touched.
At Ginny's request, services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Open Door Mission.
