Greece - Passed away peacefully 3-7-20. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Cynthia; sons William "Bill" and Paul (Mary Moratti); grandson, Christopher and his dear mother, Ann. Walt was born in New York City 10-17-38. He and his parents visited Leipzig, Germany and were not able to return until the war ended. They settled in Meriden , CT where he met his wife, Cynthia. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and was recruited by Eastman Kodak as a Development Chemist. Walt & Cindi were married 6-22-63 at St. Laurent Church in Meriden and moved to Rochester, NY. Walt retired from Kodak in 1991. Avid outdoorsman and animal lover, he was a lifetime member of Lake Plains Waterfowl Assoc. and North Star Sportsmans Club. He loved everything outdoors, from the woods to the beach-hunting, fishing, mushrooming, bird watching, etc.

No prior calling. Friends may attend his funeral Mass 9:30 Thursday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Greece. Private interment.

Our gratitude to the staff and crew at Unity Hospital Orthopedic Joint Surgery 3rd floor and Cardiac 2nd floor for their excellent care and compassionate friendly assistance. Donations may be made in Walt's memory to Lollypop Farm or the wildlife association of your choice.
