Listen to Obituary

Passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 68.

Tony is predeceased by his parents, Carl and Grace Curatalo; sister, Annette Curatalo; sister-in-law, Robin Curatalo; and brother-in-law, Tom Bailey.

He is survived by his loving wife, JoAnne; children, Justin (Jennifer), John (Lindsey), and Anthony Jr. (Alyssa); cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Eliana, Julia, and Ava; siblings, Kathy Bailey, Carol Baumann, Daniel, James, Maria (Bruce) Aherns, and Mark; sister-in-law, MaryEllen (Tim) Vassallo; brother-in-law, Joseph Guleno; his close cousin, Michael Lazzara; and several nieces and nephews.

Tony was a true entrepreneur at heart, always driven by new ideas and hard work. In the last few years of his life, Tony found special meaning in his work with Catholic Charities, where he was able to give his time and talents to helping others.

Tony had a lifelong love for antique cars, motorcycles, and a remarkable ability to work with his hands. There was rarely a project he wouldn’t take on or something he couldn’t find a way to fix. He was happiest when he was busy—building, creating, repairing, or helping someone else with a project.

But more than anything, Tony will be remembered for the life he built and the people he loved. He and his wife, JoAnne, shared a lifetime together, having been together since they were 11 and 12 years old. Through all of life’s seasons, they grew up together, built a family, and shared countless memories. Their life together was a testament to the love and commitment they shared.

Tony took great pride in his family and cherished the time spent with those closest to him. He loved his sons deeply and was incredibly proud of the men they had become. His grandchildren brought him a special kind of joy, and he treasured the time he spent with them. He had a way of making people laugh and leaving his mark wherever he went. His generosity, determination, and love for his family will live on in the many memories he leaves behind.
