Antoinette Trotti Picicci

Antoinette Trotti Picicci — known lovingly as Mom, Cicci, Grandma, Aunt Antoinette, Toni, Annie - so many names for a woman whose personality was larger than life — passed away peacefully on August 3 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by her family.

Born and raised in New York City, Antoinette spent much of her life in Germantown, NY where she raised her family and then moved to Rochester, NY. Wherever Antoinette lived, she built a life overflowing with family, faith, friendship and fun.

Despite being widowed early in life, Antoinette, with the help of family and friends, not only survived — she thrived. She was truly the life of the party: always smiling, always laughing, and always ready to sing and dance. Her smile, her lipstick, her laughter, and her own unique way of speaking were entirely hers. Her personality was matched only by her fierce loyalty — sometimes to a fault. If you treated her or her family well, you were a lifelong friend and could do no wrong in her eyes. Above all, family meant more to her than anything and her door was always open to family and friends alike. A woman of deep faith, Antoinette was a devoted member of her church's Rosary Society.

Antoinette was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Evelyn Trotti; her husband, Vincenzo Picicci; and her siblings, Anna Palazzolo (James), Mary Morenzi (Joe), Nancy Trotti, Frank Trotti (Maria), and Rocco Trotti (Mary).

She is survived by her three children, Vito Picicci (Marie), Grace Picicci, and Evelyn DeConinck (Dan); her grandchildren, Genette Picicci Oehlke (Vern), Danielle DeConinck (Dorsey Moore), Amanda Messura (John Jr.), and Nicole DeConinck (Dalton Drennon); her great-grandson, Vern Vincent Oehlke; her brother, Roger Trotti (Mary); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Antoinette lived, laughed, and loved to the fullest. She will be remembered as a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Ann’s Chapel located at St. Ann’s Home in Irondequoit. Interment will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:30 AM at Nativity Church Cemetery in Linlithgo, NY.
