Barbara A. Mertz

Passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the age of 78. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Irving; husband, Kenneth Mertz; daughter, Andrea Mertz- Moody; grandson, Ryan Jarvis; and brother, Edward Acker.

She was survived by her daughter, Valerie Jarvis; grandchildren, Michael (Alex) Robbins, Kaitlynne Robbins, Sienna Jarvis; great- grandchildren, Cali, Kenny & Josh Robbins; sister, Carol Oliver; several cousins and nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was always there when they needed her the most.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 21st from 3:30- 6:30 PM at Farrell- Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd. Rochester, NY 14612) A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22nd at 10 AM at Greece United Methodist Church (1924 Maiden Ln. Rochester, NY 14626)

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Barbara.
