Cleveland, TN

Bert left the confines of his body on Friday, April 17 at Bradley Memorial Hospital. He now walks with his lord and savior Jesus Christ. Bert was born in Youngstown, OH, 1946 to Bert Lute, Sr. and Frances J. Lute (Orr). The Lute Family moved to Rochester, NY in 1963. Bert graduated from John Marshall High School in 1964 then married his sweetheart, Pauline in 1966.

Bert is predeceased by his parents, his in-laws, Henry and Emelia Dupuis, his brother Danny, his sister June, and his brother in-law Gerald. Bert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline (Dupuis), his son Richard, his daughter Michelle (Tim), his brother Fran and a large loving extended family. Bert is a proud Grandfather of 3 and a Great-Grandfather of 4.

Bert was the president of I.U.O. E. Local 71/71A of Rochester, NY. He worked for the county of Monroe from 1974 to his retirement in 2002. Bert was a good neighbor, friend, husband, father, and go-to guy when a problem arose. He was definitely the guy you wanted on your team. We will miss him the rest of our days.

The Lute Family wants to extend their thanks to the excellent care Bert received in the ICU and the compassion he received from Chattanooga Hospice.
