Carol M. Messmer

Carol M. Messmer peacefully went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2025, at the age of 88.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Joseph Messmer; her brother, Robert Seager; and her sister, Shirley Dzielski. Carol is survived by her loving sons, Ken (Heidi) Messmer, Chuck (Christine) Messmer, and Ron (Lori) Messmer; her cherished grandchildren, Lynne Foster, Ryan Stahley, Sarah Reid, Benjamin Messmer, Clayton Messmer, Ashley Dean, Mary Messmer, Dawson Messmer, and Sawyer Messmer; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was an avid bowler and softball player and spent her professional life as a dedicated computer operator at Wilmorite. Known for her generous heart, Carol was not only a devoted mother to her own family but also a mother figure to anyone in need, always offering a warm bed, a comforting meal, and unconditional love.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00–7:00 PM on Monday, January 5, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY. A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday, January 6, at White Haven Memorial Chapel, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY 14534.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s memory to the Parkinson’s Association.
