Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the age of 92.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, Elvira and Samuel Gugino.

He is survived by his children, Carla (Mike) Buscaglia, Jim (Amy) Gugino, and Michael (Lynn) Gugino; his grandchildren, Jim Gugino, Daniel Gugino, Jake Gugino, Sammy Gugino, David Gugino, Daniel Gugino, Sarah Buscaglia, and Steve (Mackenzie) Buscaglia; his siblings, Maria (Fred) Cotraccia and Angela Escalera; several nieces and nephews, including Rita, Marisa, Gus, Emile, Angela, and Anna Maria; and his special friends, Rick and Marsha.

Charles proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy and later enjoyed a long career with Kodak before his retirement. Throughout his life, he maintained a deep interest in history and was an avid skeet shooter. He was also a firearm instructor and a lifelong member of the NRA, generously sharing his knowledge and experience with others. Charles was christian and was welcomed in heaven.

Charles lived a long and full life, marked by service, strong interests, and the many relationships he built along the way. He will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A funeral service for Charles will be held 10 AM on September 19th at Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church 48 S Estate Dr, Webster, NY 14580.
