Charles "Chuck" Schirtz

Passed away peacefully May 18, 2025 with his family by his side. He is predeceased by his parents Donald and Madeline; brothers Donald (Patricia) and Carl. Survived by his wife of 65 years Marjorie. Children Charles (Jodi) Schirtz, Kimberly (Tim) Kelly; grandchildren Alli Marie Schirtz (Ezekiel Garland), Zachary (Joanna) Schirtz, Blakely (Briana) Schirtz, Alexis Kelly, Tyler Kelly; 5 great grandchildren, sister in law Cynthia Schirtz and brother in law Gary (Barbara) Merkle.

Charles had a successful, decorated career with the Rochester City Fire Department for many years.

A private service will be held at Farrell-Ryan funeral Home for the immediate family on May 27th.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
