Christine Haney

On Monday, September 28th at the age of 94, Christine passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and wrapped in the love of her children and grandchildren —the greatest love of her life.

She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas. She is survived by her children, Patricia (David) Armstrong, Christine, Susan (Gary) Coroneos, Michael (Stefany), and Sharon; grandchildren, David (Cari), and Jennifer (Michael) Clemons; great grandchildren, Cooper and Bayleigh Haney.

Christine was a devoted and unselfish mother whose greatest joy was her family. She gave of herself freely and loved deeply, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Even after the loss of her beloved husband 24 years ago, Christine was a source of strength, grace, and love that never wavered. She continued to be the heart of her family and a constant source of comfort, encouragement, and unconditional love.

Christine had a creative and giving spirit. Family meals were nothing short of amazing with wonderful food and many many laughs. She was an avid gardener and loved knitting, crocheting, painting, and creating beautiful homemade crafts, especially when they were made with love for her children and grandchildren.

Christine also had a generous heart beyond her family. For many years, she devoted her time as a volunteer for many organizations most notably the Twig shop at RRH, giving her time and kindness to others simply because she cared.

Though she is no longer with us, the love Christine poured into her family will live on—in the memories she created, in the traditions she passed down, in the things she made with her own hands, and most of all, in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered as a beautiful mother whose greatest gift was simply loving her family.

Her family will receive friends Friday, October 2nd from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the Felerski Funeral Home 777 Long pond Rd. (Farrell Ryan Funeral Home). Christine's Memorial Mass will be held Saturday October 3rd at 10:00am at St. Kateri at St. Thomas the Apostle. Inurnment Private Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mary Cariola Center, 1000 Elmwood Ave Suite 100, Rochester, NY14620. Arrangments are entrusted to Rick Harris Jr.
