Diane LaDolce (Schaffer)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 23, 2026, at the age of 89.

Predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Gertrude Schaffer; and her son-in-law, Mark Schlenker.

Diane is survived by her daughters, Monica (Michael) Shannon and Lisa Schlenker-Curatalo; grandchildren, Mark and Nicole Schlenker and Thomas and William Shannon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Diane raised her daughters with remarkable strength and independence and played an active and loving role in her grandchildren's lives. Her family was the center of her life, and she provided them with a lifetime of love, guidance, and support.

Diane retired from Xerox after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She was an extensive traveler, and enjoyed reading, bowling and spending time with her beloved cat, Nala.

Friends and family may call Thursday from 4–6 PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
