Remembering a Wonderful Life
1934 – 2026
We are sad to share that our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister has passed away. Dolores Ann Elizabeth Wiesner, was born in Rochester, New York on December 5, 1934. She was married June 14, 1954, to August DeConinck and spent her entire life in this area. She was a great mother, an excellent cook, and had a true passion for farming, spending most of the spring, summer, and fall in Aug’s Roadside Stand. In the early years she was known for some amazing dinner parties experimenting with new recipes from many cultures. Until just a few weeks before her passing she was still cooking. Flowers remained her true passion, and over the years filled her yard with incredible floral beds that brought joy to everyone who visited. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life as a devoted Catholic. For 43 years, she shared her life with August DeConinck, raising four children on the farm who all to this day retain a love of the land. Mom will be missed more than words can say, and we will keep remembering all the special moments, stories, and fun times we had over her very long life. Rest in peace, dear Momma.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, August DeConinck and grandson Jeffrey Poehlman.
