Predeceased by his parents, Martha and Peter, and his beloved wife, Yvonne. Survived by his brother Richard (Marlene) Dohr, Daughters Deborah (Jim) Sexton, Vicki Waller, Denise Dohr, Sons Don (Mary) Dohr, Herb (Joanne) Dohr, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graduated from Aquinas High School, Class of '52; attended St. John Fisher College. He put his education on hold and enlisted in the Air Force where he served during the Korean War. Selected to go on Honor Flight #40. Served as Santa's Helper in the Greece Ridge Mall for 16 years, as well as to family, friends, and special parties. Was very well known as a high-quality home and apartment builder, including Holy Name of Jesus church and Lakeshore Rinks.
50 year member of the Oak Point Fishing Club. Past President of the Greece Rotary Club. Member of the Nights of St. John, American Legion Doud Post #98, St. Theodore Church Choir, Salem Nutrition Center and Westate Senior's Club. A beloved Papa to everyone who met him.
