Deacon Donald David Eggleston

Donald David Eggleston passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 69.

He was predeceased by his parents, William and Maryjane Eggleston, and his brother, William C. Eggleston, Jr. Don is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Elizabeth (Matthew) Helton and Jeffrey (Allison) Eggleston; grandchildren, Wesley, Tristan, and Rev; brother, Richard (Sandy) Eggleston; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Don was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose family was at the heart of his life. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company following many years of service and was also an ordained Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Rochester, faithfully serving his church and community.

Don’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate health professionals at the Freedom Center Dialysis Clinic, Wilmot Cancer Institute, and Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center for the kindness, dignity, and support they provided throughout his journey.

Family and friends are encouraged to visit with the family on Wednesday, September 30, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, immediately followed by Don’s Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
