Dorothy A. Wroblewski

Passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard; her parents, Moses and Rose Guyette; her siblings, Rita Schilling, Leon Guyette, and James Guyette; and her beloved daughter, Carol Ann Raymond.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Ann Marie Schram, Barbara Jean (Thomas) Verstraete, Michael (Denise) Wroblewski, MaryJane (Lloyd) Emigh, and Christine Gill; 9 grandchildren; Emily, Hannah (Adam), Matt (Morgan), Olivia (Tyler), Michael (Julia), Katie (Alex), Bridgett (Wolfgang), Rani and Kennedy, 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy graduated with a degree in nursing from St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, NY. She was an avid reader and writer and enjoyed sewing and knitting, creating doll clothes, socks, mittens and sweaters for those she loved. Dorothy was the queen of Scrabble and unbeatable. Above all else, however, Dorothy’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured the time spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took special pride in watching her family grow through the generations. Her grandchildren held an especially dear place in her heart, and the moments shared with those she loved were among the most meaningful of her life. She was very grateful for her loving caregivers Danielle, Karol and Dawn.

Visitation will be held from 4–6 PM on Friday, October 16, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, October 17, at St. Lawrence Church. Interment will follow at Irondequoit Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Nurses Honor Guard of Monroe County.
