Elaine Jezsik

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 23, 2026, at the age of 90.

Elaine was predeceased by her beloved husband, George.

She is survived by her daughters, Audrey (Steve) Lynch, Karen Jezsik, and Laura Jezsik; her granddaughter, Allison (Jeff) Gottlieb; and her cherished great-granddaughter, Emilia.

Above all, Elaine treasured her family and took immense joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was endlessly proud of Allison and absolutely adored Emilia. The time she spent with them brought her some of the greatest joys of her life.

Elaine lived a full and active life. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Mother of Sorrows Church, where she served as lector, Eucharistic minister, and minister to the sick.

Her generous spirit was also evident through her volunteer work with the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf, Journey Home, and Honor Flight. She also helped lead the New Directions Bereavement Group. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Cloverleaf Square Dancing Group.

Elaine worked as a realtor for over 20 years and in her spare time enjoyed gardening, traveling, and gathering with friends and family to play cards and cheer on her beloved Buffalo Bills.

There will be no prior calling hours. Elaine’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29, at the Chapel of St. Ann’s Community, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, New York. Flowers may be directed to Farrell Ryan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Greece Ecumenical Foodshelf or House of Mercy.

Following Mass, family and friends are warmly invited to continue celebrating Elaine’s life at a reception hosted by her family. Reception details will be shared at the conclusion of the service.
