Ernest Casserly

Predeceased by his wife Margaret. Survived by his daughter Patricia (Greg) Bieck; sons Kevin & Ernest (Helen); grandchildren Samantha, Rachael, Brianna & Johnathan; brother-in-law Barney (Liz) Jones; nieces, nephews and many beloved cousins.

Ernie was always a true Irish gentleman, soft spoken, always ready for a bit of craic saying nobody gets out alive. He was born in Fairymount County Roscommon, Ireland. At 17 he left to make a life. Landed in Rochester where he had a long career with Eastman Kodak Distribution. He and Margaret worked very hard to give the best they could for their children and grandchildren. He had a keen mind, loved nature, and spending time at Duck lake enjoying a cold beer with family. He brought the joy of music wherever he was, even at the end his foot was tapping to the beat of a good tune. He loved all types of music, especially country western. Ernie (Papa) was loved and cherished by all around him and will be forever missed.

Memorial Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Greece. Family and friends are welcome to an open house celebration of life all day Tuesday at 51 Twin Oak Drive.
