Frank Messina

Passed away peacefully, following a courageous battle, on October 25th, 2025, at the age of 72.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Salvatore and Maria Messina,his father and mother-in-law, Peter and Connie Zarcone and his brother-in-law, Carl Zarcone. Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, JoAnn; cherished children Melissa (Ryan) Hoffnagle, Daniel, and Kristen (Ryan) Duffy; and adored grandchildren Gia, Dominic, Reagan, Georgia, Harrison, and Declan. He is also survived by his loving siblings Josephine (Michael) Tantalo, Toni (Anthony) Caterino, and Michael (Sandra) Messina; sister-in-law Carol (Ron) Roulty; along with aunts, an uncle, several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Frank was a lifelong car enthusiast, especially proud of his classic 1971 Chevelle. He found great joy in collecting model cars and trains, and cherished time spent playing cards and sharing laughter with family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, from 4–7 PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 30th, at 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
