Frederick Scherer

Greece: September 28, 2014 at age 85, after a short illness. Predeceased by his son, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Ingrid; daughter, Rae (Jeff Pallatto) Watley; step-son, Robert (Dee Dee) Clark of VA; step-daughter, Deborah (Dennis) Cichelli; step-sons, Roger and Robert Palermo; daughter-in-law, Rene Cordon; 10 grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Norris of AZ; sisters-in-law, Mae Scherer and Betty Sellinger; many nieces, nephews and friends. Fred was past Chief of the Grand View Heights Fire Dept. and was a member of the Lakeshore Fire Dept. for over 50 years. He was also a retired member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #46.



Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta). Service and Interment at the convenience of the family.
