Jacquelyn Grammatico

N. Greece/LeRoy: Jacquelyn “Jackie” Grammatico, age 90, formerly of North Greece, passed away peacefully at Crossroads House in Batavia on Sunday morning, September 13, 2026.

Born on May 16, 1936, in Rochester, New York, Jackie was the daughter of late Salvatore “Sam” and Irma (Pucci) Sotile. A 65-year resident of North Greece, and nine months at The Greens of LeRoy, she carried with her a deep love for her home, her family, her faith, and her friends throughout her life.

Jackie was a devoted member of St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church where her strong Catholic faith was a guiding force. Her devotion to her husband of nearly 68 years, Anthony, and her family was evident in everything she did. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a sweet great-grandmother, and a cherished friend whose warmth, friendship, and humor touched many lives.

Jackie also had a love for cooking and gardening. Her kitchen was her domain and the heart of her home. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, especially during holidays. Her Christmas Eve spread was one that her children and grandchildren would eagerly await. Cooking was one of her ways of showing love, and her family will forever appreciate her home cooked meals and delicious desserts. Gardening, though, may have been her favorite interest. She took great pride in her knowledge, as well as having a clear vision on the specific look and design of her gardens. Although she would complain about how hard she worked in her gardens, there’s no doubt that it brought her pride and happiness.

She is survived by the love of her life, Anthony “Tony”; her children, Cathleen (Daniel) Zarcone of Mesa, Arizona and Michael (Sarah) Grammatico of Batavia; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Kaley) Grammatico, Thomas (Carolyn) Grammatico, Lucas Grammatico, and Daniella Zarcone; “GG Jac” adored her great grandchildren Stella “Sweetie Pie”, Anna “Baby Doll”, “Little” Louie and the expected twin boys. She also leaves behind a brother-in-law (Gary Mascioletti), a special niece and nephew, and great friends including Shirley, John & Betty, and Dan & Pam. Especially appreciated is Stacey and her “team of angels” who helped care for Jackie over the past few months.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Mascioletti.

Funeral arrangement will be made by Farrell Ryan Funeral Services, 777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612 with calling hours on Friday, September 18th from 3:30pm – 6:30pm, and a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, 54 Kuhn Rd, Rochester, NY 14612 on Saturday, September 19th at 11am. A processional to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow. Memorials are suggested to St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church or Crossroads House, 11 Liberty St., Batavia NY 14020.
