James "Jim" DeMallie

Passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2025, at the age of 59. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Barbara DeMaillie, and his father-in-law, Barry W. Welch. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Alyssa “Lisa” Welch; his siblings, Susan (Joseph) English and David (Lewis Snyder) DeMaillie; his mother-in-law, Suzanne Welch; his sister-in-law, Karen (Bill Parker) Welch; and his brother-in-law, Allen Briggs, along with many cherished, extended family members and friends.

Jim found joy in the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or relaxing with a Budweiser at the Little Sodus Inn or at his cottage. He will be remembered for his helpfulness, warmth, humor, the ease with which he shared life’s simple pleasures, and his ability to make friends easily.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, September 26th, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, immediately followed by a service at 6:00 p.m.

There will also be a Celebration of Life for Jim on Saturday, September 27th, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m at Little Sodus Inn; 14451 Bell Ave, Fair Haven, NY 13064 – All friends are welcome to attend.
