Greece - Passed away peacefully at home on July 31, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen; son Joseph (Val); daughter Bonnie Potocki (John); grandchildren Ashley, Mathew, & Courtney; and 2 great-grandchildren.


Jim was a retiree of Rochester Telephone after over 40 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean war, a member of the VFW Post #468, the Deputy Fire Chief of the Ridge Road Fire District, a member of the North Greece Fire District and an avid farmer.

Calling hours will be Tuesday 4-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:30 at Holy Cross Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Dorsey Road VFW Post #468, 344 Dorsey Rd, Rochester, NY 14616.
