James "Jim" A. Hernon

Passed away April 7th, 2025 (age 92) at home surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his parents James & Marguerite; sisters Patricia (Dick) & Nona (Paul); brother Andrew; brother-in-law James Derungs; nephew Tom Flanagan and Uncle William Heyn. Survived by Janet Hernon, the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, his loving and devoted wife of 70 years; children James Hernon, Eileen (Steve) Maloney, & Michael (Minerva) Hernon; grandchildren Christopher Maloney, Courtney Maloney, Michael (Lucy) Maloney, Christine Maloney, & Alex (Lucia) Rodriguez; great-grandchildren Madilyn, Maisy, Alex & Delaney; sisters Marilyn Derungs and Lanny (Jon) Brown; several dear nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday April 26th 3-6pm at the American Legion Post #468 344 Dorsey Road 14616.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
