Hilton: It is with deep and heavy sadness we announce the passing of James Polatas on Oct. 24, 2015. Jim was predeceased by his infant daughter, Jill; stepsons, Ronald and Robert; his parents, Joseph and Mildred; his sister, Margaret; and brothers, John "Jack" & Thomas. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Dolores; children, James (Connie), Jinny (Mike) Giancursio, Ken (Lorraine), Susan Garza, Joe (Laurie), Diana Spratling; stepson, Roland (Robin) Dean; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several in-laws, nieces, nephews & friends. Jim was a Navy veteran and Kodak retiree. He enjoyed all sports, was an avid golfer and, up to this year, a member of Braemar Country Club.

Friends may call 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English & Latta). Funeral Service, 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment, Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
