Bauer, John J.
Greece: August 29, 2017. Survived by his loving wife, Vasa Ann; daughters, Karen (Kurt) Opel, Barbara (James) Smith; grandchildren, Whitney Smith, Jordan Smith, Derek (Kara) Opel. John was a WWII Veteran, dedicated employee of Bausch & Lomb for 45 years, avid outdoorsman and expert craftsman. The family sincerely thanks the devoted staff at Crimson Ridge Gardens and Hildebrandt Hospice for their exceptional and loving care. Those wishing may donate to either facility or a charity of their choice .
Memorial Mass will be held in his honor , 9:30 Friday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
