John A. Raillon

January 10, 1964 — May 23, 2026

Listen to Obituary

John was predeceased by his beloved mother, Marianne Olcott; his father, John H. Raillon; and his daughter, Jesse Diaz.

He is survived by his loving children, Janay Raillon and Jordan (Danielle) Diaz; his cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew Joseph and Alexander Pullen, and Jesse Diaz; and his father, Stark Olcott. John is also survived by his sisters, Dee, Sherry, Becky, MaryBeth, and Melissa (Dennis) Glavas; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

John was a hardworking and devoted man who spent many years working at Kodak, where he formed lasting friendships with many mentors who became dear friends. He later went on to work with Villager Construction before starting his own business, Raillon Plumbing. John was known for his selflessness, strong work ethic, and the way he always put others before himself.

Though John may have had a seemingly tough exterior, those who knew him best knew he was truly a teddy bear at heart. He had a genuine, contagious smile that could light up a room. He was often found tinkering in the garage on his latest project or cruising around in his Chevy step-side truck.

Above all, John will be remembered for the deep love he had for his family and for the many cherished memories they shared together, especially their trips to the Thousand Islands. His presence, kindness, and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 6th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, concluding with a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
