Greece - John G. Young, a gentle man, graced with faith and humor, went home to God surrounded by his family on August 8, 2019. John leaves a legacy of love to his beloved wife Patricia, his 6 grateful children and their spouses - Dorothy Johnson, Mary (Michael) Fox, Moira Young (Donna Forsyth), Sara (Dan) Kelly, Jamie Young, and Becky (Todd) Mitchell. He leaves 8 beautiful grandchildren - Ben (Eliza), Sean, Brigid, Danny, and Jesslynn Kelly, Ethan and Ellie Fox, and Lily Grace Mitchell. He was blessed with a darling great granddaughter, Lucy Kaitlyn Kelly, 4 months ago.

A wake will be held at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester 14612 from 1-4 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2019 and a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester 14615, at 9 am Monday, August 12, 2019.
