Kathleen M. Zappia

Passed away peacefully August 30,2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, the love of her life Joseph, her son Michael, parents Raymond and Dorthy Geyer; brother Francis, sister Anne (James) Buckert. She is survived by her sons Scott (Nancy) & Terry (Debra); daughter-in-law Dalys Zappia; grandchildren Nicole, Joseph (Diana), Mark (Lauren), Robert (Laura), Lauren (Ryan) Adkins, Devon

(Pierre) Scarpulla-Serrao, Dominique (Christian Cupello), & Marcus; 7 great-grandchilden and many neices and nephews.

Kay was a loving, devoted, humorous and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend whose smile and presence lit up a room. Kay was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, but made Rochester her home where she raised her family. Kay was an avid Buffalo Bills, Sabres, Rochester Amerks and NY Yankees fan. A dedicated grandmother who enjoyed being a fan of everything her children and grandchildren did in life. For over 50 years was the Executive Secretary at Pierrepont Visual Graphics, Inc. She will be missed by all.

The family would like to thank the facility at Brentland Woods, the nurses and doctors at UR Strong Hospital Floor 5-1600 unit for their dedication and loving care of Kay

Services were held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the "Crohn's & Colitis Foundation".
