Kevin Travers

Kevin Patrick Travers Sr passed away on March 7, 2026. Kevin was born December 24, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the youngest and pre-deceased by his two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Catherine J. Smith and their only child, Kevin Travers Jr. and wife Virginia (Doremus) Travers.

Kevin spent his early years in New York City, working as a Manhattan taxi cab driver among other jobs, before meeting Catherine in Manhattan and eventually moving to Rochester, NY in 1984. Kevin had a number of different jobs in Rochester including at silver recovery plant, Kleenbrite Labs, and later ran a small auto repair business out of their home.  Kevin and Catherine loved dogs and had many of them over the years including Samantha, Ruby, Onyx, Jade and Pearl.

A private remembrance gathering is planned for a later date.
