Lawrence R. Huss

Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 87.

Larry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ernetta; his children Scott, Pam, and Tim (Christy); and his grandsons Jack, Nicholas, and Ryan. He is also survived by his sister in law and brother in law, Sherryl and Ron Payne, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Myron and Peg Huss, and his sister, Beverly Bixby.

Larry graduated from Charlotte High School and went on to earn a mechanical engineering degree from GMI. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career with Rochester Products before retiring. Known for his calm, patient, and good natured way of approaching any challenge, he could fix just about anything—cars, boats, snowmobiles, or the house. He treasured time spent with his family and was always ready for a spirited game of Oh Hell with best friends Woj and Walt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th, from 1–3 PM, immediately followed by a service at 3 PM at Farrell Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612.
