Leon D. Nowakowski
Greece - December 1, 2018. Predeceased by his wife, Elaine. Survived by his children, Lynn (Robert) Streber, Gregory Nowakowski, Glenn (Lisa) Nowakowski and Jennifer Wilmer; grandchildren, Brielle, Kierstin, Emily, Daniel and Ryan. Survived by longtime companion, Rita Mcavinney and her beloved family. He served in the US Army 1st Battalion 16th Infantry Fort Riley, Kansas. He was a member of Lake Plains Water Fowl Association.
Friends may call Thursday 4-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. Funeral Mass 9:30 Friday St. Mark's Church, (Kuhn Rd.). Interment Holy Sepulchre. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Aquinas Institute.
