Linda “Lyn” Bryant was born on September 26, 1961 in Montgomery, AL to parents Marjie Bryant and Elijah Bryant (pre-deceased).
Linda was a mother to her three children - Marlon Bryant (Jasiah, Jasmine, Joslyn, Jurni, Justice), Margie Waters (Harlem), Mylinda Waters (Lennix) and a loving grandmother.
Lyn served in the Air-force for 4 years after graduating High School, working as a construction worker and learning life skills. Once she came home she set out on the path to finding work to support her family and found that at Action for a Better Community, Inc (ABC) where she worked diligently and closely with some of the best programs in the Rochester, NY community to service low income families and people looking for a better opportunity. After dedicating most of her life to her role and becoming a cornerstone in the company, Linda retired after 33 years and was honored with her very own conference room (The Linda A Bryant Conference Room).
Linda was a country girl at heart that loved to laugh. She was family oriented and tough. She passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026 after a courageous battle with dementia.
She is survived by her mother, children, grandchildren, siblings and a host of nieces/nephews.
Lyn will be truly missed.
