Marian was kind and generous and devoted to her family. Holiday dinners at her house were always fun and memorable. She was an avid reader and did the newspaper crossword puzzle every day. She loved her faith, the Yankees and everything Irish.
In 1947, Marian worked at the RG&E where she was selected to be one of their "Kiloette" dancers. The troupe performed at corporate events and even at the Eastman Theater. She used to say "We were just like the Rockettes!" When she was in her fifties, she enrolled at MCC where she earned an Associate's degree and graduated with honors. She worked at the Lyell Branch Library for twenty wonderful years.
