Greece: Unexpectedly on April 21, 2017. Predeceased by 2 sisters, a brother and his granddaughter. Survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, Amy (Anthony DeRitis) Cordaro, Jeff (Karen) West; his grandchildren, Michael, Alvin, Tyler & Patrick; great-grandchildren, Cali, Skylar & Lucas; brother, John West; sister, Emily (Bob) Sweitzer; god son, Nicholas Barkley; Scott Cordaro; and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Mert was a retiree of Eastman Kodak, and a sports fanatic.

Friends may call from 4 - 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English & Latta). A Service will immediately follow at 7 PM.
